Welcome the Nintendo Switch in March 2017

Nintendo has been relatively silent on the rumored NX console since they said they would not be revealing it at E3. Last night they announced on twitter that a preview trailer would be coming this morning and we would finally know what the console was like. Rumors that the console was a TV/mobile hybrid were confirmed, along with the name, Nintendo Switch.

Get Ready for E3 2016!

E3 2016 is a little less than a week away and it's basically gamer Christmas. Unyielding Optimism: Nintendo

I'll admit it: as a long time Nintendo fan, it is getting increasingly hard to support the seemingly out of touch company. Every day it seems like more bad news comes out of Nintendo. This year's Wii U and 3DS lineup was already thin, but with the recent announcement that Zelda Wii U was being pushed into 2017 and being simultaneously released on the NX,  it seems the Wii U's days are numbered. In addition to that disappointing piece of news, Nintendo also confirmed it would only be bringing that ONE game to the biggest gaming convention of the year: E3. It also confirmed that the NX would not be at the show.

Music Monday: The Revival

Music is all around us; we hear it on TV, in movies, on the radio, and even in the sounds of nature. Music impacts us and it shapes us. Music can be an escape from the harsh realities of life. Music is emotional, raw, energetic, but most importantly, music is powerful. Music is used to set a mood, to influence our emotions, and to truly bring us into the lives of others. Video Game music does this in a way that fully captures our emotions and invests us in the plight of our characters. In a game, Music is as vital as the visuals themselves, and while we may not always notice it when it’s there, we feel the loss of it when it’s gone.

Nintendo to Create Mobile Games; New Console Announced

Nintendo announced a partnership with DeNA, a popular mobile game developer, to adapt Nintendo's massive IP selection to the smartphone and tablet market. During a press conference with DeNA, Satoru Iwata confirmed that there was a new piece of Hardware in development codenamed "NX."
