2015 was a hell of a year for gaming. In terms of big triple A releases, this year wasn't short on content. We had Halo 5, Fallout 4, Metal Gear Solid 5, Batman: Arkham Knight, Witcher 3, Mortal Kombat X, yet another Assassin's Creed, the list goes on and on. Though, for me, this was the year of games that I barely knew anything about. They were games that I never paid attention to before release, or heck, didn't even know about them until their release. Looking back, this might have been my favorite year ever in terms of gaming, because the experiences I had were constantly unique to me. Even harder, was ranking the best experiences I had. Through much thought, I believe I've finally figured out where I stand on my favorite games of last year.

Every year, a myriad of games release. Some explode onto the scene and receive massive critical acclaim while others unfortunately fall by the wayside. 2015 in particular saw blockbuster titles that the world never thought was coming, indie darlings that pushed the boundaries of what games can offer, and many other awesome games that offered great experiences for many different tastes. While I didn't get around to some of the year's biggest juggernaut titles (I'm looking at you, Witcher 3), 2015 was still a fantastic year in gaming and so behold - here are my top 5 games of 2015.

The last podcast of the year! You know what that means!
Podcast.....yeah you read that right.
Nowadays, games attempt to wow people with flashy graphics, explosive setpieces, and huge open worlds. A linear experience with little to no gameplay that looks like it came out of the 1980s seems like a recipe for disaster. However, Undertale is an exhilarating, refreshing journey that surprised me with a must-play RPG bound to fill you with determination.
Music Monday is back! Today I will go over what is, arguably, the most popular song from the indie game, Undertale. I will give this warning right now, from here on out, there will be spoilers for the game. I will be going over a certain boss battle and themes that are going on in the second half of the game. If you want nothing spoiled for you, avoid this article. You have been warned.
