It is rare to see such a large studio with so many established AAA IP's take a shot on a brand new IP and concept... unless that studio is Ubisoft. Ubisoft is one of the few studios that still likes to try out a new IP virtually every year. For Honor is a very interesting game; its core concept is so strong, and when it puts you in certain situations it is truly a new exciting combat system that I've never seen; however, most of the time the game doesn't put you in those situations and ends up in the areas of mediocrity far too often.

Those who were hoping to get their hands on the new South Park entry before the start of 2017 will be disappointed.
The new trailer isn't long, but it's still as promising as ever.
The new South Park game, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, looks incredible and Ubisoft gave fans a ton of new information thanks to Matt Stone and Trey Parker.

As usual, Ubisoft announced a new IP to close out their conference, but unusually it wasn't a shooter or action game, but rather an open-world sports game called Steep.
For Honor received two videos at Ubisoft's E3 press conference highlighting the single player and world of For Honor.
Since E3 is apparently 2 weeks long now, Ubisoft officially revealed Watch Dogs 2 in a 15 minute livestream this morning.
In a year without a new mainline entry in Ubisoft's flagship franchise, I've found myself reflecting on my time as a fan of Assassin's Creed. If I were to rank the games in the series objectively, Assassin's Creed III would sit ahead of 2014's aggressively flawed Unity and behind all the rest. It's a rough game at times, particularly burdened with frustrating and incomplete-feeling mission design and a litany of technical and pacing problems. Despite all that, if I were to throw objectivity out the window and let my heart hold sway, Connor's journey through America's tumultuous birth stands as one of the most memorable experiences in gaming for me.
