DLC Review Roundup // Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Batman: Arkham Knight, and Rise of the Tomb Raider
The past couple of months have seen a large chunk of story DLC hit for a variety of AAA games. Here's a look at three of the biggest, for Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Batman: Arkham Knight, and Rise of the Tomb Raider. Read on to find out if they are worth your time.
Microsoft is hoping to raid your wallet this year with an impressive bundle.
Originally due for a release this year, Naughty Dog has revealed that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has been delayed into a Spring 2016 timeframe. Uncharted 4 was slated to be Sony's biggest exclusive for the PlayStation 4 this year, going up against Microsoft's Xbox One exclusive Rise of the Tomb Raider by Crystal Dynamics. With Lara having this particular niche to herself it will be interesting to see how this might affect console sales this holiday season.
Hitman: Absolution, Thief, Tomb Raider, Sleeping Dogs, and more can be yours now thanks to the Humble Square Enix Bundle 2. With this Humble Bundle you can support Make a Wish Foundation and GamesAid, as well as get several great games at low prices.
Katie surprises me with her knowledge of adolescent humor. Between you and me, I think she's showing off for YouTube.
Check out the latest from the 2Parents. In this episode Katie learns the fate of one of her predictions. How does she react? Was she right or wrong?
Sometimes things just click in my brain, but in this episode of 2Parents Play we see me completely shut down, and like a good husband, I totally don't listen to my wife to my detriment. Listen, we got through it. I might not have looked great, I'm still not even sure if I solved the puzzle properly, but we got through it. Enjoy!
Katie and I started this project because we wanted to see what it was like to experience some of my favorite games through the eyes of someone who not only had very little game knowledge, but was also not desensitized by years of experience. Katie has watched some pretty horrible things do to and by Lara Croft, controlled by me, but we find out something fascinating in this episode. I've gone back to check and the theory holds true. Although Katie is mildly disturbed by Lara killing enemies, she is most disturbed when it happens up close. It's not like the guy who gets sniped by a bow shot from forty feet away is any less dead than the guy who gets a shotgun blast to the belly, but there's something fascinating about her different reactions to the two. Any video game/psychologists out there who want to chime in? Watch and leave a comment below and see for yourself.
Is anyone keeping a running tally of how many times I light my torch instead of grab that loot? I hope not because I don't want to know.
