The Vault: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Remember experiencing “that moment” in your favorite game that really showed you how special it was? Imagine walking into a giant living tree after just earning your first sword and shield. Imagine climbing to the highest point of the tree, all while fighting spiders and man eating plants. Imagine gazing down into that tree and seeing a massive spider web sealing you off from your destination. Now imagine the adrenaline as you leap from the top of that tree and shatter that web, breaking through that colossal barrier. This moment showed me what a new 3D world of gaming can do, what could happen whenever you factor in depth. This moment showed me how visceral even the simplest of actions could be. This single moment solidified Ocarina of Time as more than just a game; it was an experience.

Trailer for Project Spark’s Conker Episode

The Xbox One game that has people mad for trying to appeal to fans has finally resurfaced.  After disappearing from the public eye (other than a very active tutorial Youtube channel) for what seems like a decent bit of time, Project Spark has come back with a new trailer showcasing the Conker aspect of the game.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D Review

Majora's Mask is a game that shouldn't work purely from a conceptual standpoint. The core gameplay mechanic involves repeating sections of the game multiple times and constantly "restarting" the game from the beginning. You have three days to stop the moon from crashing into the land of Termina, so when you finally arrive at that third day you are forced to rewind time back to the first day or suffer "a terrible fate." This gameplay hook should lead to a tedious and repetitive grind, but the game is balanced so well that you never feel as if you are repeating content. When you rewind time you are keep your key items and masks that you've earned throughout the last three days, so each set of days has new opportunities based on the new masks and items you have. This experimentation is the key that makes Majora's Mask fascinating and addictive. Several big changes have been made to this 3DS remake that makes this unique game mechanic even more excellent.
