Elder Scrolls Online is getting a Dark Brotherhood expansion soon, but the more interesting news of the night was a new initiative called One Tamriel.
The Popular MMO FPS game Planetside 2 will be getting a console beta starting on January 20. It’s difficult for me to call the eleventh installment of Final Fantasy a throwback because the game is not only still very much alive, but Square continues to support the game with updates, patches, and expansions. However it was the first MMO I dipped my toe into, and what a hardcore dip that turned out to be.
Final Fantasy 14 delivers again with Dreams of Ice, and the adventurers of Eorzea will find themselves with plenty to do while they wait for more news on the recently announced Heavensward.
Thanks to some clever writing and good directing, the world of comic books and super heroes has gone mainstream. "Kingdom Under Fire" doesn't have a great history, unfortunately. The combat and gameplay were often lackluster and no where near what was promised. I remember my first time playing the series under "The Crusaders" title, and it was certainly a huge disappointment. Well, developer Blueside has released an extended trailer of a massive battle scene in their upcoming free-to-play MMO, "Kingdom Under Fire II". The move to MMO makes sense for the series, as I believe its true spirit lies in these massive battles that are made better by more human players.
