The first mobile entry in the Kingdom Hearts series (in North America anyways) will hit your iOS or Android device this week.
Released at Jump Festa 2015, fans got a brief look at HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and an even briefer look at Kingdom Hearts III.
Now that Cloud has been confirmed for Super Smash Bros. I decided to think of five characters I’d love to see playable in the game at some point. There wasn't a set criteria I was going for when making this list, just a bunch of characters I express interest in.
We will be getting one more entry in the series before the long awaited Kingdom Hearts III.
E3 is fast approaching, with only two weeks left until the big event has its first live-streamed show. The following post will tell you what conferences will be at the show, what time they begin, and what we know about them. This page will be updated as we hear more details. *Updated A LOT on July 15*
Kingdom Hearts is one game series that I absolutely adore, but it's often incredibly hard to explain why I love it. It has oodles of charm and it oozes creativity. Square Enix meets Disney in a crazy tale that mixes original characters, Final Fantasy characters, and Disney characters. It's an idea that should never work, but somehow it does, and it works incredibly well at that. With the Kingdom Hearts II.5 ReMix launching recently, I’ve been playing and thinking about Kingdom Hearts quite a bit. What better way to celebrate such a beloved series than ranking all of its games from worst to best.
Not nearly enough attention is paid to good cover art, on both the publisher and the consumer side. Like with films or novels, good cover design should cast an artful eye towards conveying the contents of the game in an eye-catching way. As a collector, good cover art matters to me. It's something that can get me interested in a disc-based game, tipping me into a buying decision. It's something that I value years later when I peruse my collection, feeling the warm rush of nostalgia wash over me and reminding me of everything I loved about a game.
In a sea of mediocre (or worse) cover art, good cover design matters and it should be celebrated! Here is a look at 10 of the finest cover designs 2014 has had to offer!
2014. It's been a great year, hasn't it? We've seen a deluge of awesome games, from AAA and Indie to PC and Handheld/Mobile. We've finally gotten some new-generation exclusives worth their salt and there's even more on the horizon. Final Fantasy Versus XIII has morphed into Final Fantasy XV, becoming all the more tangible in the process with a playable demo coming soon. Kingdom Hearts III is finally, finally officially in development. PC gaming is more varied and vibrant than it's ever been, Microsoft has reversed their fortunes and the Xbox One is as solid a system as Sony's PS4, and Nintendo continues to thrill with the 3DS while making the Wii U look more and more appealing all the time: I know a couple of APG editors will be spending their Christmas breaks with Super Smash Bros. for sure!
Ever since Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX came out I had been patiently waiting for the inevitable 2.5 ReMIX. It packaged Kingdom Hearts II which is by far, my favorite of the games I've played, and Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, a prequel game I never got to experience.
