"Bow down before the God of killing itself."
In just two weeks, Hearthstone players will be getting 45 new cards to use however they want.
Very few developers can generate the sort of buzz that lights the world on fire. In a world where we are overwhelmed with entertainment options, letting people know about your game is difficult enough, much less getting them excited for it. One developer that seems to be the constant exception is Blizzard Entertainment. Every game they promote seems to catch on like wildfire. Blizzard has a pedigree of continuously releasing amazing titles, from World of Warcraft to Starcraft to Hearthstone. Blizzard games always have a tremendous amount of love, care, and polish. They all have that magical Blizzard touch that pushes them above all other games in their respective genres. As expected, Overwatch is no exception.
After a plethora of repeats, Tavern Brawl returns with a truly fascinating experience.
If you like incredibly drawn out Hearthstone matches, this brawl is for you.
Won't be long now before the Old Gods start infiltrating your decks.
A brawl breaks out this week that really makes you appreciate certain cost spells, and certain attack minions.
A repeat of a brawl that entirely hinges on RNG, for better or for worse.
What's the Gimmick?
Every deck, no matter what the class is full of 23 Unstable Portals and 7 class specific spells. Whatever you get is whatever you play, so you better hope that the random odds are in your favor.
We have seen this brawl three or four times at this point, and for every other time, I really enjoyed it. However this time, it just isn't as fun as I remembered it being. Sure, it is fun to see what minion will pop out of a portal at a nice discount, but it's so easy for you or your opponent to snowball. Also, most classes aren't equipped with spells that can actually deal with whatever comes out of the portal easily, so you will see a repeat of the same classes over and over again. On the bright side, usually when they do a repeat of a brawl they are planning something big for the next week, so it's something to look forward to.
Every minion under 7 mana can go spend their time off at Weenie Hut Jr.
